Birth Pool Hire Terms and Conditions

  1. * For your safety and prevention of cross-contamination, the supplies including water floating thermometer, pool liner, fishing net, and water hose are for single users only so these supplies are non-returnable after hiring for hygiene purposes.
  2. Returnable products at the end of the hire: Birth Pool and the carrier bag, electric air pump, submersible water pump, form mat.
  3. The pool is to be picked up (self-collect) from us as arranged. The pool is then to be personally returned to the agreed location.
  4. The pool must be booked in advance and can only be picked up at an agreed date when you are approximately 37 weeks gestation.
  5. The hire is for a period of up to 5 weeks and additional weeks are charged at $20 per week and are subject to availability.
  6. Cancellations will be accepted up to 7 days prior to the agreed hire start date and a $20 administration fee will be charged if this is the case.
  7. The pool must only be used with a liner.
  8. The submersible water pump must NOT be used until the pool is finished with. This is a dirty water pump and is unable to be cleaned to a standard to prevent cross-contamination. If you use this and re-enter the pool, you will be subjecting mother and baby to the risk of contamination.
  9. ALL pools will be inspected within 7 business days of return, any birth pool returned unclean and in unusable condition will incur a cleaning fee of SGD80.
  10. If any other parts, equipment or packaging supplied as part of the package (e.g. pumps, pool bag and form mat) are returned damaged or are missing, the full retail replacement value of these goods plus freight will be charged.
  11. The replacement cost of the pool is $350, at the discretion of Now For Beyond Pte Ltd, if any of the below conditions will incur the full replacement fee being charged:
    • If the pool is irreparably damaged, marked or punctured,
    • If cleaning products, other chemicals or oils, or water hotter than 45°C have been used in the pool to the detriment of the pool material,
    • If the pool has been used without a liner,
    • If the pool has been over-inflated and damaged,
    • If the pool has been damaged in storage or transit,
    • If the pool has been used outside,
    • If a heater has been used in the pool.
  12. The deposit will be returned upon the return of the equipment in clean and working order.
  13.  The pool and equipment are used at your own risk including liability for accident, damage to your property, or personal injury incurred during transit or use of the pool or equipment supplies
